AMELIA CLINE
LAWYER
Amelia completed her J.D. degree from the University of Ottawa in 2014 and was called to the Bar in British Columbia in 2015. Before joining the team at Sorensen Smith, Amelia gained extensive experience in a variety of litigation matters, including family, personal injury, and disability insurance claims. She has assisted clients through every step of the litigation process, including Chambers applications, discovery, mediations, and settlement negotiations. She has trial experience in both the Provincial and Supreme Courts of British Columbia and has also represented clients at the Residential Tenancy Branch and Workers Compensation Appeal Tribunal. She strives to provide effective and compassionate advocacy and to find cost-efficient solutions for her clients’ claims.
Outside of the office, Amelia dedicates her time to volunteer work. She served for six years as a board member for the Abbotsford Restorative Justice and Advocacy Association. She serves as the Chancellor for the Anglican Ecclesiastical Province of B.C. and the Yukon. She has also acted as a mentor for the Trinity Western School of Business Mentorship Program since 2015. Amelia is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia.
Amelia was raised in the Lower Mainland and currently lives with her two mischievous cats. She enjoys travelling, photography, and spending time on her parents nearby hobby farm.
