Jasdeep grew up in North Delta. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from Kwantlen Polytechnic University and then attended law school at Thompson Rivers University where she received her law degree in 2019. During her time at law school, Jasdeep received the Dean’s course prize in Employment Law for achieving the highest grade in her class. She worked at the Community Legal Aid Clinic assisting with tenant disputes, applications to the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board and appeals to the Social Benefits Tribunal. Jasdeep also volunteered at a women’s treatment center providing legal information to vulnerable and at-risk women.

Jasdeep was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2020. Prior to joining Sorensen Smith LLP, Jasdeep gained experience in a variety of litigation matters, including family, employment, personal injury and civil litigation. She has successfully negotiated numerous settlements and has represented clients in mediations and in trials before the Provincial and Supreme Court of British Columbia.

Jasdeep currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Abbotsford & District Bar Association. Outside of law, Jasdeep enjoys playing soccer, hiking, and running. She also enjoys cooking and trying new restaurants and coffee shops.
